This contract assignment is situated within a highly visible State Government Department that employs over 14,000 people with a wide a range of responsibilities and skill sets in order to ensure that it operates effectively and efficiently. They are undertaking a large scale transformation of financial processes under their Business Finance Improvement (BFI) Program. Leading practive design solutions have been developed and approved, and the program is now commencing its build and implementation stage. The Business Analyst will be required to facilitate the build, testing and delivery of the new policies, processes and technology to support improved financial management and performance. The focus will be on processes relating to: - Scenario Modelling
- Forecasting (Rolling)
- Management (Actuals) Reporting
- Network Reporting
- Alignment of Targets
The ideal candidate will possess solid Business/Process Analysis experience, as well as general finance planning, reporting and forecasting experience. You will also need to be IT savvy from a technical perspective, as you will need to write Functional and Process Specs and be able to work with technical and business teams.
You will also be a self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high output standards within tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This contract will be for an initial period of about 12 months, with scope for extension. A negotiable rate will be offered based upon your level of relevant experience.
